Description
Castel (solenoid) expansion valves
The Castel solenoid expansion valves can be used in a wide range of applications;
- Refrigeration systems,
- Air conditioning system,
- Heta pump systems,
- Liquid chillers.
The valves are regulated with the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) principle and it can be actuated by a very simple electronic controller.
They can be used with either the Polyhedra group refrigerants or the GoGreen group for CO2. Models 2028N, 2028C and 2028E are delivered without a solenoid coil, to be recognized by the suffix “S”. The ATEX model 2028EX comes with a standard fixed coil of 230V AC to be recognized by suffix “A6”.
For the separate ordered coils you can choose between;
- Series 9300 (type HF2),
- Series 9320 (type HF3),
- Series 9360 (type HF4).
