Castel liquid-/moisture indicators
Castel indicators are equipped with a visual indication for moist or liquids in the refrigerant. The edge of the indicator turns yellow when moist. This is your cue to change the filter drier. We advise to mount a valve behind the liquid-/moisture indicator in order to make easy replacement of the filter drier possible. When vapor bubbles appear in the sight glass it indicates the presence of flash gas in the liquid line.
Available with SAE flare -, copper – and stainless steel connections.
“CO2” = GoGreen, suited for R744 only. The indicators are available with numerous TS and PS settings. They can be recognized by the “E” or “EL” in the model name.
“(HC)” = Suitable for refrigerants in the Polyhedra group (and several from the Classic group) including HC refrigerants. These models have an extra “N” in its name.
Filter shells without both mentioned codes can be used with all Classic refrigerants.
