GeAn-BOCK Condensorsets

GeAn-BOCK air-cooled condensing unit.

In 2017 Euro-Cold introduced the GeAn-BOCK air-cooled condensing unit. A brand new and our own concept, based on saving energy and ready for upcoming refrigerants, still in development.

GeAn-BOCK condensing units are equipped with energy efficient Ziehl-Abegg EC condenser fans in full-flow design. Unlike most other condensing units the fan blade does not fall partially inside the condenser housing and/or outside its collar off the housing. More than sufficient space between fan blade and condenser block results in an optimal distribution of the airflow over the block. On the air outlet side the fan is equipped with extra air guiding blades to reduce the noise to the lowest possible range.

The pressure transducer we have selected for this product is equipped with a gauge and can be connected directly to the fan. Through the fan speed control the condenser pressure is now managed smoothly and quietly. So no more annoying buzzing sounds as is common with other transducers. The maximum allowable pressure (PS) of the condenser, receiver and optional oil separator is 42 bar standard.

Various functions of the EC fans can be programmed in a simple manner and therefor be optimized in terms of control characteristics for the refrigerant used. This modular concept offers a wide range of combinations to meet individual desires. Compressor and condenser block are selected separately, they are not fixed as with common units.
